Wealthy & Grateful

I can hardly believe that we are in November, and I'll be saying goodbye to my #JesusYear (33) in 15 days. To commemorate this, I decided to do #15DaysofGratitude on social media. Each day I will be sharing something for which I am grateful.

As I started to brainstorm the many things that I am grateful for in my life, I discovered something. Many of the things that I am thankful for, money can't buy.

I smiled because, in this line of work, I am hyper-aware of the vital role that money plays in making a difference. I often wish I was born into ridiculous wealth so that I can do so much more. But as I began to narrow down my top 15, I took to the internet for inspiration and images. In my search, I stumbled across this quote that literally gave me an immediate perspective shift:

"Some people are so poor that all they have is money."

Listen, money is not a bad thing, it's a good thing, but it's not everything. You can be loaded with cash but poor in spirit, health, joy, peace, and the list goes on.

So in this month of gratitude, and for the next 15 days, I will give thanks for the many things l possess that money can't buy. Follow me on  Facebook and Instagram to find out how wealthy and grateful I am.
